Well I guess its started with an Idea that I had in the first go around, before I got seriously injured from work. I was thinking about going into podcasting that summer, and I had a bunch of ideas and stuff. And only reason was because covid really hurt the United States at that time. But let me get how Playlist Wars was born first.

So it was October 2020, and I got injured at work !! I totally rip the MCL in my knee, thank god I was ok but needed surgery, So I was out of work for the first two weeks and Finally for the appointment for MRI and to no surprise I needed surgery, well I was talking to my best for now over 30 years, I was bored at home and I was wondering if we wanted to do a podcast with me !!! Well Brian said let me think about it and he came up with a great Idea Playlist Wars was born So Brian and I hashed out the details two best friends and a special pick an musical artist and pick are favorite 10 songs.

Well comes to know surprise it took my 4 episodes to find my nitch to the show, Brian Colburn who is a musical knowledge is unreal knew a lot of about music and his passion shows for the love, but in the 4 episode We were talking about Beastie Boys with are friend Doug Miller and one song that we all had was No Sleep Till Brooklyn, So I was the last one to talk about why I choose where on my list it was, but it was me saying on a side note did you know this song was in a Steven Seagull Movie Out For Justice, And Doug and Brian went nuts because I love movies video games and television shows.

After Episode 4, Brian calls me on the cell right away, and Gomez you found something, I was like what do you mean use the music and Brian you knowledge of Movies Video Games and TV. And I was like yeah after that it was gravy lol !!! We had a great show over 70 show that can be found still this day at Playlistwarspodcast.com…

So Sept of 2022 comes kids are going to school and life is getting a little hard, Brian and I had to talk about the future figure we would take like a month off and come back, Well come to are knowledge that wasn’t easy as his kids are a little older and my kids are young scheduling was becoming more difficult, We figure lets take a break and when we can we will come back and make a good quality show. It was October or November I called Brian telling him I really miss podcasting miss are Tuesday nights that’s when we did a lot of our recordings. But I called Brian and I said I think I am going start my own podcasting So in November I did a feeler out that Sleevie G or the Sleeveless G and Sleevie G wins.

About Christmas time Brian had an idea for a new show, My Weekly Mixtape ask how I feel I said to him do it because are schedules are totally off. With the kids having totally different schedules. He debut in Jan 18,2023, but we both agreed but summer time we come back to Playlist Wars, but for now he has a great show I mean talk about taking it back to the day when we had to mixtapes and wait for that song on the radio and hit record, those were the days and then we got to burning CD’s. And Now we come to my show and blog site after finally waiting getting better from being sick. In Jan 2023 was the start and birth of this new show for me. I first started blogging which I love to do, Trying to get my message out there and I feel like now I am getting better for each story already talked about Bullying, Who is Your Hero, Anxiety and now this pieces I am writing about.

My Podcasting Debut was Jan 22, 2023 and Of course first Episode and first guest was of course my Co-Host from Playlist Wars Host of My Weekly Mixtape Brian Colburn, so the Dynamic Duo shared the air waves again lol breaking in my new show. Now the Sleevie G Show I Bring Local New Jersey Businesses , Music, Movies, Video Games, Cooking Like it says it’s a Jammed Pack Show.
