The first movie I will talk about is Michael Keaton’s Movie is Beetlejuice. This movie also had Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Jeffrey Jones, Catherine O’Hara, and also Winona Ryder. Talk about an Allstar cast for this ghoulie movie. I will say it turned into a Cult Classic. Tim Burton directed the movie this is Michael Keaton and Tim Burton movie to work on the also did was the hit classic Batman in 1989.

The movie is Setting In Winter River, Conn., where the Maitland’s choose to stay home for the vacation to fix there house and work on the model of the town. Coming back home they move out the way quickly not to hit the dog and hit the bridge and in the sadness they both pass away. Not realizing they are dead , the home was sold to The Deetz Family with his second wife who is a sculptor and his daughter from his first marriage and she is aspiring photographer.

The Maitland’s are realizing something is off that the cant see reflections and little things like opening the door, and they find this book The Handbook For The Recently Deceased and during that time a tv commercial comes on and its for Betelgeuse aka Beetlejuice If you say his name three times he will appear ( Trust me I tried it when I was a kid and never happened lol ) .

Now Otho who is the interior designer and also thinking he is expert on the deceased. He does this Seance that he can bring the Maitland’s back to life with the wedding clothes, Now Keep in mind they have been trying to scare the Deetz out of the house for awhile, But with Beetlejuice kinda wrecking things too.

I was going to keep writing about the movie but if you haven’t seen the first one you gotta watch, Why you ask, well that’s simple it’s because BeetleJuice 2 is coming out very soon. I thought this movies was great and its great # 5 movie pick for the 1980’s.
