One of my personal favorite cop movies is, Beverly Hills Cop Released In 1984. Movie is With Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley a young hot shot detective out of Detroit. Also Staring in the movie is Judge Reinhold as Detective Billy Rosewood, John Ashton as John Taggart, and Ronny Cox as Lieutenant Andrew Bogomil. Also supporting actors Like Paul Reiser Steve Berkoff, and Jonathan Banks

Probably on the best funny action pack movies I seen. I actually still watch it to this day. This movie lauched Eddie Murphy’s movie career. He has a lot of hit successful movies to boot.

This movie is about Foley living in Detroit and his best friend comes back out from California we bonds he took from the company he works for. He was murder for taking them, and left Foley to survive. His boss tells him to take a vacation and he said not to work the case. Which of course he didnt listen.

But I won’t say much if you have seen this movie. Eddie Murphy won the People’s Choice award for Favorite Motion Picture, Academy Award for best original screenplay in 1985. This movie had a budget ion 13 million dollars and the box office you can the movie did excellent $316 million dollars. The movie did soo well and soundtrack won a Grammy for Best Score soundtrack album.

SO this movie has a huge success and it did wonders for Eddie Murphy’s career, of course this movie had success with Part 2 and part 3. He is now in development for Beverly Hills Cop 4 cant wait to see that one !!
