That is the greatest question that you can ask anyone, What Does Christmas Mean To You ? It has a lot of meaning actually Santa is coming to town to give all the good children their toys or gifts, and truly the birth of Jesus too. But don’t worry folks not going to religious here today but we should be thankful for him !!!

Remembering growing up Christmas was always a huge thing for be for a couple of reasons, one being born In December one week before Christmas , I guess I felt I was getting a little gipped lol, but as I got older it wasn’t about the gifts. But birthdays was about my friends and hanging out. If I had family around for my birthday I was happy usually was my mom, dad , uncle , and my grandmother at the time. I was lucky to have a small tight family.
When Christmas I was young always soo Santa at the mall or anymore my mom would take me, of course growing up as a young child didn’t know the struggles my parents had to go through, I mean struggling to pay rent to make sure we had hot meals, there was a lot I never knew until I got older. I do have to thank my Mom, Dad, Uncle, and my Grandmother, Without them Christmas would never be the same, I learned that as I got older when my father passed away and my grandmother did too.
You don’t realize how lucky I was when it came to Christmas, so when they passed away, we really didn’t celebrate anymore because the house felt empty. But I got lucky a couple of years later I met someone and changed everything my wife right now and my two children now Christmas means a lot more to me now and then it ever did. Family is the key word for me gifts are amazing but seeing smiles eating dinner having a drink that’s where it is at. Remembering past family members memories and just having fun.

I will say I am blessed now I am complete with everything I will ever need, my wife and two children are the best presents I can ever ask for me. That includes Christmas and my birthday. Now as I am a parent we keep Christmas a great tradition my kids and wife decorate the whole house and I am usually outside getting the floats and lights up.
As the kids are trying to behave and make sure Cindy Lou (Elf on the Shelf) reports to Santa how good they are doing but I will say the kids as the are getting a little older they are realizing a little how family is important to us.

Christmas is just around the corner and I know the kids well be excited as we se lights on house and feeling the Christmas cheer. They only thing is to same From The Sleevie G Family We all want to wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year !!!!
