Wow sorry folks, I know it’s been a long time for me writing blog !! I did get a little busy with life and work and plus having a nasty cold didn’t help either, but looking forward to give you guys the top 5 movies of 1983 !!! So let’s get this party started !!!

Let’s welcome the Number 5 movie in this count down to the number 1 movie. At Number 5 it’s the hit movie War Games Direct John Badham and written by Lawrence Lasker & Walter F. Parkes, Starring Matthew Broderick, Dabney Coleman, and Ally Sheedy. This Movies was release June 3, 1983 and to make this movie the budget was $12 million dollars and the box office it made $126.3 million dollars. The Main character Matthew Broderick aka David Lightman is a computer hacker who discovers a computer company with new games he wants to play but doesn’t realize the games are part of NORAD computer system called WOPR War Operation Plan Response, Well Lightman got it and started which he that it was a game and America thought it was real life. This is a true thing that computers can learn and almost think on their own but can’t know the good or bad, This is a great movie !!!

Wow I am kinda shocked this wasn’t little higher in the charts but the number 4 movie is the hit comedy Trading Place direct by John Landis and written but Timothy Harris and Herschel Weingrod. This movie has an all star cast Staring Dan Aykroyd, Eddie Murphy, Ralph Bellamy, Don Ameche, Denhold Elliot, And Jamie Lee Curtis. This movie tells a funny story of an upper class stoke broker ( Aykroyd ) and a poor street hustler (Murphy), who’s lives are made into a subject or survival and a 1 dollar bet, the broker is going to be poor and the poor hustler will make money. This movie is funny Aykroyd and Murphy are funny together made one of the best 80’s movie !!!!

The number 3 movie is the American romantic drama dance film directed by Adrian Lyne and Starring Jennifer Beals as a young passionate dance the hit movie Flashdance !!! Alex Owens is 18 years old welder at a steel mill in Pittsburgh, she lives with her dog an apartment that was a warehouse. Having very little family she turns with her coworkers at Mawby’s. After seeking counsel from her mentor retired ballerina Hanna Long, to go try to apply for the Pittsburgh Conservatory of Dance and Repertory. This is a good movie and story, because you see the struggles of life and working hard to getting what you want and taking some risks to get some rewards !!!

Well to be honest folks lol, I don’t know much about this movie so the number to movie is Terms of Endearment This was actually a book in 1975. But this movie did have an Allstar cast like Debra Winger, Shirley Maclaine, Jack Nicholson, Danny DeVito, Jeff Daniels, and John Lithgow. This movies covers about 30 years of the relationship Between Aurora Greenway and her daughter Emma !!

And of course the number 1 movie of 1983 is Star Wars Episode IV – Return Of The Jedi. I am such a Star Wars guy I love all of them the fight between good and evil, Father Vs Son, The Rebellion Vs The Empire, The Jedi Vs The Sith, this list goes on and on lol !!! Growing up I always love all these movies and Return Of The Jedi is up there !!! With an amazing cast starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams. They all fight against the evil empire and to make the universe a better place . May The Force Be With You !!!!
