First, let’s start by congratulating The New York Giants on 100 years, this is a huge accomplishment. There is only one team that celebrated 100 years the first was the Chicago Bears. But that’s not the real reason why I am doing this blog about the Giants. I am writing this because this is my opinion on the matter on what I think is wrong with the Giants !!

I really want to start with the ownership of the New York Giants , John Mara The President, CEO, and co-owner of the Giants. The team was own by his father Wellington Mara. Now John graduated from Iona Prep School and had a Degree from Boston College, John joined the Giants in 1991 serving as a general counsel and later in time executive vice president and also chief operating officer until his Father’s death in 2005, were John has taking the reins.

I think Mara is a a very good president I think he cares about his team try to make sure he gives the fans what they are looking for which is a Super Bowl winning team. So far in my life time I got to see three Super Bowl Giants win, including ruining The Pats perfect season !!! John Mara was under heavy criticism because he keep Giants players and personal too long !!

Now off to Steve Tish the other Co-owner of The New York Giants. Now I think of Tish I think of movies Like Risky Business Produced several great movies like Forrest Gump, American History X just to name a couple. Also Got John Mara’s daughter into the movies too see her in the Movie Shooter !!

Now these two are great owners but my question can they bring the talent to New York and Keep them, for the best example could we have kept Saquan Barkley ? We know John Mara was pushing the GM on Hard Knocks to get his signed, but as we all know he went to the rival Eagles. Did Tish have any say in this ? I feel he is like the background owner and the money man !!

Now I am going to get into the gritty here !!! Lets talk about Joe Schoen, Now don’t get me wrong I am not thrilled in soo far he has done. He has gotten rid of the Gettlemen era junk we drafted almost. But he has gotten some talent Nabors being one of them, But letting Saquan go is the hardest, I felt Joe didn’t want him around, Listen Barkley is a legit running back, but did he ever wanted to be with the Giants is another question. Looking at Joe job history working with the Panthers Scout Assistant, The Miami Dolphins as a national scout, then moved to the Buffalo Bills as assistant General Manager, now is the GM of The Giants. On a scale of 1 – 10 I am giving Joe as 5 doing ok but could be doing a lot better !!!

Now the Coach of the New York Giants Brian Daboll, this is a hard one for me like other Giants coaches he got the Coach of the year his first time out as the coach, brings us to the playoffs actually made Daniel Jones are real QB, but does he have control of the room with the rest of the players. His Career reads like he was offensive Coordinator for a couple of spots and pretty much fired Like the Browns and the Jets and the Dolphins, but his succession was really with Buffalo, were he had a team like Jake Allen as your QB great receivers and a running back. The Jury is still out this year only going 1-3 with some questionable coaching calls.

Overall As a Giants fan its hard again have a couple of close games, but I think we finally have an O-line and pretty good defensive, but the team needs to gel and heal together, and hopefully win some games. Now just remember this is my own personal opinion on this whole matter.
